As a busy 2018 comes to an end it is a great time to reflect on the past year. 2018 saw Calmare Candles undergo re-branding with the redesign of our logo and packaging to a design that was all mine. A simple black and white design featuring Australia's National Floral emblem, the wattle. This for me was a huge goal achieved.
This year also saw the expansion into the market/festival scene. Instead of just our lovely monthly community markets of Winmalee and Glenmore Park, Calmare Candles ventured out to the country markets of Millthorpe. Huge events such as Springwood Foundation Day, the ETSY market and two Open Days made for a very busy year.
Late 2018 saw the collaboration with Bluebell Carousel begin with the development of their own bespoke range of candles specifically designed for the Chinese market. Bluebell Carousel was launched in December to the Australian market with plans to launch into the Chinese market well underway.
This year's goals are still being written but one of the main aims is to branch out into more retail outlets. New products are always high on my list and are already under development with our Eco range of candles becoming available early in the new year.
